Description
The earthwork remains of the gold mine at Gwynfynydd include shafts, levels, open cuts and stopes. There are also remains of the associated transport network including tramways and inclines. Surviving buildings include the winding houses and other associated buildings and structures. The processing mill was some 700 metres due south (nprn 34130). The No. 6 deep level (nprn 33978) was the last operational area, closing in 1999.
