Description
This `V? shaped fish trap is visible on modern aerial photographic coverage. It comprises two arms consisting of dry stone walls, probably separated by a cod-end or sluice at the apex. The shoreward section of the western arm measures approximately 30m and points south. The arm then changes orientation and runs north-east for a further 80m. The eastern arm points south-west and measures approximately 90m. The fish trap is located at the south-east end of a larger submerged grouping of weeds and rocks on the otherwise sandy bed of the bay. The walls are partially obscured by weed.
