DescriptionLapley Grange is a substantial 2-storey house with a large front terrace. It was built in 1904 by a Miss Paddock "apparently to the specification of her dolls' house", and whose family originated from the village of Lapley, Staffs. in 1943 Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Cross founded a private school which continued until the early 1970s. It was then bought by the Sir John Cass Foundation, who used it for some years as a holiday home for inner city children. Now known as Plas Einion.
