Description
Opened in 1897 situated in the centre of Maesteg next to St David's Church, North's Memorial Hall was named for the institute's benefactor Colonel North who donated £500 towards the cost of construction and an annual donation of books for the library. The Maesteg hall was the central library for a network with branches at Nantyfyllon, Caerau, and Cwmdu.
