DescriptionCrynant Welfare Hall was opened in 1920 by the local welfare association. It provided a public hall, games rooms, committee rooms, and a cinema. The building was originally an Army Hut acquired after the end of the First World War and erected in Station Road. The cinema operated until the 1960s and at various times the hall has been used as the headquarters of the local Rugby Football Club. The Hall remains extant and, after several years of use as a social club, recently closed.
