Description
Constructed in the 1930s in red brick, Beaufort Hill Welfare Hall provided a public hall and social venue for the people living in Beaufort and Beaufort Hill. Funded through a grant from the Miners' Welfare Fund, it was maintained through a levy of local wages. The building remains extant and is used as a social and community venue today.
