Description
Ty Gwyn y Gamlas was a ferry embarkation point for travellers crossing the Traeth Mawr and Traeth Bach before the Cob (NPRN 34165) and Pont Briwat (NPRN 404539) were built. The natural creek here may have been canalised in the middle ages to give ships access to a wharf at the foot of Harlech Castle rock.
