Robinson, David and Company Limited were timber and plywood importers of East Tyndall Street, Cardiff. The firm of Robinson David and Co., Cardiff was established on 29th September 1886 when Thomas W. David of Watson and Co. of Cardiff, timber importers, was taken into partnership by Sidney Robinson and Co. of Cardiff, timber merchants. Sidney Robinson had acquired the old established buisness of J and J Grant, timber and slate merchants, in 1885. British Borneo Timber Company Limited (later known as Sabah Timber Company) acquired shares in the firm in 1960.
