DescriptionRoyal Porthcawl golf club was established in 1891 by a group of Cardiff businessmen. The course moved to its present site in 1895 when the clubhouse was built. In 1909, it became the second course in Wales allowed the use of the prefix ?Royal?. The clubhouse is a single storey, wooden framed building with a projecting wing to the front overlooking the sea.
