DescriptionThe Aberaman Welfare Hall opened on Monday 14 January 1924 by George Hall MP. The site had previously been the Lucania Billiard Room. It cost £3,300 to convert and equip and the costs were entirely met by a grant from the Miners' Welfare Fund of £4,000. The main hall in the building had accomodation for 700. Today, the building is used as a snooker club.
