DescriptionThis chapel site site is located some 250m north of Bettws farm. Until the mid-nineteenth century, bones and peices of coffin (including brass fittings and coffin boards) were reportedly regularly turned up during ploughing in the vicinity of the site. A holy water stoup is also noted to have been recovered. The chapel site is currently visible as a banked enclosure, and the present farm and adjacent woodland preserve its name.
