Cropmarks recorded during Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance in July 2013 show two sides of a bivallate enclosure, comprising two parallel ditches running north, then turning through a sharp corner west to connect with an extant field boundary on the west side of a minor lane. It is likely that the cropmarks represent the ploughed-out remains of a field enclosure, but one that pre-dates the country lane which bisects it.
