Description
St Luke's is located in Queen Street, at what was in 1887 and still is the edge of the settlement of Cwmdare. Established as a Mission Church, it was built in lancet style 1886-7 to designs of E.M.Bruce Vaughan, in buff-coloured brick with Bath stone dressings. It comprises nave and chancel with north-east vestry and south-west porch. Its windows include stained glass by Timothy Lewis, dated to 1966-8 and 1990.
