DescriptionA roughly triangular mill-pond approximately 250 metres north-east of the Porth y Rhaw Mill (NPRN 40254). The site has been re-dug to provide irrigation water. The water is held up by an earth bank about 2m high and scrub surrounds two sides of the pool. The early editions of the O.S. maps show another pond between this and the mill but this was apparently destroyed to make way for sewage works which have since been removed. Approximately 65m x 40m in area.
