Description
Bethel Wesleyan Methodist chapel was built in the latter part of the 19th century. It is constructed of stone, and is in the Gothic style, with a side porch forming the entry, the road facade being dominated by a large traceried window.

Bethel was closed some time after 1979 and sold to the Catholic Church to form the church of St John Jones. The church is dedicated to Saint John Jones, a Franciscan martyr who was a native of Clynnog Fawr.
