Horeb Independent Chapel was built in 1830 and rebuilt in 1853 to the design ofarchitect John Lewis of Brechfa. The chapel was renovated in 1891. The present chapel, dated 1853, is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the long-wall entry type.
