Hen Filo Chapel was built in 1831, then rebuilt in 1850 by architect Thomas Thomas of Landore. The present building, dated 1850, is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the long-wall entry type. By 1905, after the building of a new chapel (NPRN 6478) this old chapel served as the Sunday School.
