Description
Nantybenglog Welsh Independent Chapel, claimed to be the highest chapel in Wales, was founded in 1853, and modified in 1929. The chapel is entered via a gabled porch at the gable end. The walls are pebbledashed, with rusticated surrounds to two windows on the front elevation, the roof is of pitched slate. A plaque to the side elevation (fronting onto the road) bears the inscription 'ADDOLDY ANNIBYNOL / NANT-Y-BENGLOG / ADEILADWYD 1853 / ADYWEIRIWYD 1929'.
