Portland Street Congregational Chapel was built in 1866, in the Gothic style of the gable entry type, to the design of architects Paull & Robinson of Manchester. Prominent features of this Chapel are the large arch in the facade and the integral tower. By 1998 the chapel had been converted for use as a doctors surgery.
