Description
Fronwen Methodist hapel was built in 1796, rebuilt in 1818, enlarged in 1834 and renewed in 1857. The present chapel, dated 1857, is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the gable entry type. A semi-circular headed slate plaque in the gable is inscribed: "Vronwen /Chapel /by the /Calvinistic Methodists /1857". Fronwen was closed in 1974 and used as a workshop eversince, but is Grade 2 Listed as a well-proportioned chapel of the mid nineteenth century style.
