Bryndaionyn Methodist Chapel was built in 1822 and rebuilt in 1888. The later building style is Simple Round-headed with a gable entry plan. The OS 1/2500 First Edition of 1870-5 describes this chapel as Wesleyan but this an error; the Religious Census of 1851 and the OS 2nd Edition of 1897-9 both describe it as Calvinistic Methodist.
