DescriptionThe first Ewl Methodist Chapel was built in 1836, in the Vernacular style with a long-wall plan. A wooden porch was later added to the single central doorway. The Clwyd Record gives an opening date of 1923 but this is clearly a re-opening, perhaps after a period of disuse. The 1836 chapel was converted into a cottage by 1984, called Sunnymead.
