Pen-y-Fron Baptist Chapel was built in 1825 in the Vernacular style of the side-wall entry type. The chapel was repaired/restored during the late twentieth century and is now Grade 2 listed, as the oldest Baptist chapel in Flintshire and intact example with a square plan.
