Bethel Methodist Chapel was built in 1833, rebuilt in 1840 and again in 1864. The 1864 chapel was built in the Classical style with a short-wall entry, hipped roof and round-headed windows. A manse was added in 1894 and a vestry in 1907. By 1998 Bethel had been demolished .
