Penuel Welsh Baptist Chapel was built in 1897 in the Classical and Lombardic/Italian style of the gable-entry type, to the design of architect E Evans of Caernarvon. The chapel was built in memory of the great preacher, Christmas Evans, and replaced the original Capel Cildwrn, Llangefni (NRPN 8784). There is a memorial to Christmas Evans inside.
