Ysgoldy Independent Chapel was built in 1896, in a Sub-Classical style with some Arts and Crafts features. The windows have typical arts and crafts style leading and the weather board has an ornate carving. The chapel is single storey and has a gable-entry. By 1997 the building was in use as a chapel of rest and funeral home.
