DescriptionSituated 2382m East of Llangammarch Wells, climbing a North facing spur and falling away steeply to the West and East, is a fine braided trackway; c 600m long and up to 204m wide. On the ground the feature seemed to be a braiding of a medieval or post medieval trackway as it came to a steeper gradient and changed direction. There is also likely to be some natural slippage as well. The road as it exists now has a substantial bend in to get over the problems created by the gradient. A footpath is shown on the 1st and 2nd edition Ordnance Survey maps running to this side of the road.
