Bethania Baptist Chapel was first built in 1869, as recorded on the date plaque. This building was rebuilt in 1874 in a very plain, Simple Round-Headed style, with two tall round-headed windows in the end gable and a small entrance porch on the right side long wall. The exterior of the chapel has been rough rendered and the original (probably slate) roof replaced in the twentieth century with cement tiles. The 1874 Chapel was designed by architect Thomas Thomas of Landore.
