Bethel Methodist Chapel was built in 1873 in the Romanesque style of the gable-entry type. The gable facade has a central, round-headed doorway over which is a short round-headed window flanked by two tall round-headed windows which reach almost the full height of the facade. In the apex is a small roundel. Over the central window is a small stone plaque inscribed 'BETHEL CALVANISTIC METHODIST CHAPEL 1873'. The side elevations are very plain with three full height, round-headed windows.
