DescriptionMount Carmel English Baptist Chapel was built in 1893 in the Sub Romanesque style of the gable-entry type. The central round-headed doorway has four orders of arches and is set with a slightly advanced bay. This is flanked by two tall round-headed windows with stepped dressings, while over the doorway is a very large round-headed window with five orders of arches. Above this the central aby rises slighly above the eaves line of the gable, where it is topped by two finials. Two large pointed finials sit on the outer corners of the elevation, surmounting full height corner buttresses.
