Listed as Coychurch Cemetery, this complex was built in 1970 as the Mid Glamorgan Crematorium by architect Maxwell Fry, who gave a lecture in 1968 on the design of crematoria focusing on the need 'to make people participate more closely in the cremation service through the design of the building and its approaches', these principles being realised here. Listing includes Capel Crallo, Capel Coity, Chapel of Rememberance, Coychurch Cemetery entrance walls, gates and pillar.
