DescriptionBethesda Independent Chapel was first built in 1848, rebuilt in 1866 and rebuilt again in 1886. The current chapel, probably dating from 1886, is built in a mixture of the Classical and Ilaliate styles with a gable-entry plan. The central doorway has heavy stepped voussoirs and above it is a Venetian style window with marginal glazing. Either side of the central bay, and in the side elevation, are full height, round-headed windows, also with marginal glazing.
