Calfaria Baptist Chapel was built before the Sunday school in 1888. The chapel was built in a Simple-Gothic style with a gable-entry plan and the Sunday school in a Simple Round-Headed style. Calfaria closed in 1981, was later demolishd and flats built on the site in 1987-8.
