Site Description Bethel Independent Chapel was built in 1863, by architect John Humphreys of Treforest, rebuilt in 1883 and again in 1903. The later chapel was built in the Simple Round-Headed and Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type, with two storeys and a large arch in the facade. By 1997 Bethel had fallen ito disuse.
