The present facade which dates to the 1996 rebuilding, is constructed in the Classical style, with a gable-entry type, probably directly relating to the 1880 chapel, and retains the original datestone of 1880. Carmel is now Grade 2 Listed for it's "exceptional 4-sided gallery, painted organ, carved pulpit and other fine fittings".
