DescriptionTabernacle Baptist Chapel was built in 1835, rebuilt in 1842 and again in 1896. The later chapel was designed by architect George Morgan of Carmarthen and builder J. Jones of Glanynant and built in the Romanesque style of the gable-entry type. The chapel has two storeys and a large arch in the facade, set over a triple, round-headed window. The doorway is Romanesque with three orders of arches with different mouldings, supported on four sets of pilasters to either side. To the rear of the chapel there is an organ and a narrow passage into a large meeting hall/Sunday school, which also has two reasonable sized rooms to the rear. Tabernacle is now Grade 2 Listed.
