Description
Bethlehem Calvinistic Methodist Chapel was built in 1841 in the Simple Round-Headed style. It has two storeys and a long-wall entry type layout, with a two door entrance system, one at each end. As you enter either door there is a staircase up to the gallery next to the entrance or a door into the ground floor of the chapel. The pulpit is at the front of the chapel, positioned between both doors. The pews are positioned around this forming an auditorium style layout. To the left of the entrance is a door to an adjacent meeting room/Sunday school, there is also two separate external entrances to this adjacent hall. Bethlehem had been demolished by 1998.
