Description
Bethel Baptist Chapel was built in 1858 and renovated in 1898 and again in 1910. The present chapel, dated 1910, was brick built in the Classical and Lombardic/Italianate style, with two storeys, a gable entry plan and perpendicular windows with florentine tracery glazing. This chapel closed in 1965 and the building was let to the Casablanca Club. By 1996 the building was up for sale, unsafe and listed for demolition.

RCAHMW, May 2012

The site has since been demolished and is now a car park.
