Small quarry site located at the end of a remote valley at an altitude of more than 650m; accessed via a north-south track from area of Melynllyn reservoir. It covers approx. 140sq metres. Possible prospecting quarry by either Dulyn Slate quarry or else Melynllyn Hone quarry. The quarry has operated at least since the late nineteenth century as it appears on the Ordnance Survey six-inch first edition map of 1891. It probably survived into the post-war period.
Quarry workings and some ruined buildings are still visible.
