A complex group of at least 5 trial mines that have adjacent spoil heaps and that are located on the western edge of Craig Cwm Du. The overall area measures approximately 85m square. The pathway leading up to the site has been revetted. Slagheaps from primary ore processing are present adjacent to the site. It is shown as 'Trial Level' on the 1st Edition OS mapping, is also shown on the current OS mapping, and on the RCAHMW Aerial Photographic Interpretation.
