St James's church lies in a rectangular churchyard used as a cemetery on the east side of the A484 which passes through the village of Rhos. It was built chaeply in 1902-3 by Thomas Williams. Map depiction with air photos suggests a simple rectangular building with bellcote and porch on the west gable.
