St Mary's Church is located in an irregularly shaped churchyard on the west side of the B4309, between Pontyates and Meinciau. It was built in 1911, in utilitarian manner, to designs of architect William Griffiths of Llanelli. It is constructed of brown-grey Llanelli stone with ashlar dressings. It consists of nave with bellcote and gabled west porch (roof line at right angles), and chancel with gabled south vestry and lean to room with extension on the north. Stained glass includes works by Celtic Studios (1953 & 1963).
