Description
Abermeurig Methodist Chapel was built in 1698 and rebuilt four times, in 1772, 1816, 1826 and 1890.

The present chapel, dated 1890, is built of stone in the Simple Round-Headed style of the gable entry type. The front facade is rendered, and features three round-headed windows with round-headed glazing, set above two round-headed doorways. The long, side, elevation has four larger, round-headed, windows with similar glazing, the centre two set at a lower level to the outer two. This may suggest that the earlier chapel was long-walled, and the interior has been reorientated to fit with the current gable entry form. On the rear gable end, there is an attached chapel house.
