Porth Salvation Army Chapel was built in 1887 in the Simple Round-Headed and Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type. By 1998 this chapel had fallen into disuse. In 2005, the chapel was converted into flats, Capel Newsletter, Spring 2005.
