Description
Garth Methodist Chapel was built 1845. It was enlarged and rebuilt in 1866, modified in 1878 and rebuilt again in 1898. The present chapel, dated 1898, opened on the 29th May 1898 and is built of Minffordd and Tuhwnt-I'r-bwlch stone with Anglesey limestone dressings. The design and superintending work was carried out by Messers Owen Morris Roberts and Sons of Porthmadog and is in the Classical style with a gable entry plan and leaded windows. Status (1996) closed, (2012): derelict.
