St Mary's church was located on the south side of Villiers Road, at its junction with Compton Road. It was built in 1905 at a time when a grant was awarded for the building of a Mission Church in Skewen; its location was then at the very edge of the settlement. The church was demolished in early 2012 and a new church built on the site. No further information recorded.
