C18 mansion; Queen Ann style; rubble-built with an external facing of bricks in Flemish bond; 'double-pile' plan; two storeys with a recessed attic storey; hipped roof with two hipped dormer windows on each face and a recessed central pediment containing a distinctive half-round or lunette window; entrance was approached by short opposing flights of steps. Demolished 1965.
