Description
The roofless wreck of a massive eighteenth century three storey tower in the early Georgian manner. It straddled a drive at the entrance to the grounds of Orielton (NPRN 265869). Derelict by the mid nineteenth century it was described as a banqueting tower at this time.
The ground floor, with cambered carriage arches, is roughcast. The upper storeys are of red brick, with some traces of render, with Baths stone dressings. There are remains of corner fireplaces and internal plasterwork.
