DescriptionA dwelling of the late 18th/early 19th century with possibly earlier origins; part of the Rose Hill Estate. 2-storey, whitewashed brick with pedimented gables and slate roof. The main elevation has a dentilled brick cornice. Ground floor openings altered, with 2 doors in their original positions. Inset red cast-iron GR letter box dating from the conversion to a post office. The first floor contains 2 cast-iron 19th-century Gothic tracery windows. The right-hand return elevation is much altered, but has evidence of blocked earlier openings similar to the pointed arched windows on the front elevation. The left-hand return elevation has single-storey lean-to additions.
