Description
A group of eleven rectangular mounds, generally 10-14m by 5.0-10m & 0.2-0.4m high, occurring across an area of about 200m north-east to south-west, within a disused mining landscape, south-west of the main opencast at Dolaucothi (see Nprn95142): survey, in 1984, in general showed that these mounds were later than the mine-workings in this area; traces of an associated enclosure were thought to represent a possible breeding pen: the complex is thought to be medieval, or post-medieval.
